Los del Àtico:

Nos Marins will represent the Alliance Française de Pasadena.

With the support of publisher Neno&Tala, specialized in projects of artistic mediation in immersion and organization Art’Plume, Florent Vintrigner, Paul d’Amour and Pierre Luquet created sea chanties with the sailors of Cotentin. They were accompanied by François Dourlen who’s in charge of the visual telling of the adventure. 14 songs were written and composed in January 2021.

The sea chanty is a musical genre. At the beginning, they were the songs sung by the sailors while they were working. Some sea chanties are part of the popular French culture.

Big Boss Bubeleh will represent the Alliance Française San Diego.

This band from San Diego is very pleasant to listen to. Their songs are categorized in gypsy jazzy klezmer pop.

Big Boss Bubeleh is a duo guitar. Yael was born in Paris, France and Vlady in Poltava, Ukraine.
Musically they tread on the blues with R&B grooves and gypsy moves.

Sharon Katz and the Peace Train will represent l‘Alliance Française Tijuana.

Sharon is originally from South Africa, currently living on the border between Tijuana and San Diego, and will participate with material of her authorship. She has performed at different venues around the world, has also been Nelson Mandela’s cultural ambassador and founded “The Peace Train” to bring peace and hope to children throughout the world.

Chloé Perrier and the French Heart Jazz Band will represent the Alliance Française de Los Angeles.

The lovely Chloe Perrier has performed on stage in Paris and New York and currently resides in Los Angeles. She and her band play an intriguing mix of French, Brazilian and American jazz standards from the 1920s to the 1940s with an intercontinental flare.

Enjoy a great international musical event with various musical genres. Save the date: June 19 at 5pm on Facebook Live on the Facebook page of La Fête de la Musique Californienne.
